The end of summer

This is just one of the many joys of motherhood! I love my babies so much!!

We have been so busy since Jacob was born... 2 children is more work than one, but oh so worth it!! Jacob is a very content child, which makes Andrew seem more crazy than he really is. Andrew is still such a momma's boy, though he shadows Aaron at every given chance! It is so amazing to watch the personalities of our boys grow - we are so very blessed!

Jacob's favorite past time... I am not sure, but I think this activity may be the reason he weighs 18 lbs at the age of 12 weeks!!

Falling asleep in Daddy's arms while swinging on the porch swing... Life doesn't get much better than this!

Aaron's first birthday with us since 2005 - missed 2 while in Iraq. Andrew loves blowing out the candles!

Jacob Thomas' arrival

Our precious baby has finally arrived!! After a very fast labor of 5 and a half hours, Jacob Thomas arrived at 10:31am on August 7th, 2008. Jacob weighed 9lbs, 8oz and was 21 3/4 inches long. At 17 days old he already had gained 2 lbs. He is a very healthy little boy and a big eater! We are so blessed to have Andrew and Jacob in our home, they provide both a challenge and great joy every day! It is so wonderful to watch them grow and learn new things. I will try to find the time to keep new pics up... life has gotten a whole lot busier these days!Jacob's first sponge bath.Proud momma with her 2 boys!Dad gets some shut eye while holding his new son.
The new big brother holds Jacob for the first time - about an hourt after the birth.A waterbirth in the comfort of home with family at my side - my dream birth experience! Finally in the tub, at 10 cm!

Andrew and I enjoy the sea water. It felt wonderful and I could hardly get him out of the water when it was time to go.

Andrew's first time in the 'huge sand-box'!
Just checking things out...
Surf's up, DUDE! He was just too cute that day! I did good and kept him lotioned up - no sunburn at all! Now mom was a different story, I actually got my tan on!
